Role Summary
One of the responsibilities of the Golf Operations Attendant is to maintain The Nest Golf course operations and assist members with their clubs, equipment or other needs.
They will also be responsible for monitoring the pace of play and must be the most visible associate on the golf course to assist player needs and monitor if rules and regulations of the golf course are adhered to.
Duties include, power cart and club cleaning, marshalling, starting, practice facility maintenance and greeting.

Role Summary

They will also be responsible for monitoring the pace of play and must be the most visible associate on the golf course to assist player needs and monitor if rules and regulations of the golf course are adhered to.

Responsibilities
- Welcome members and provide assistance with their clubs and other equipment
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the golf cart fleet, including washing and parking of golf carts
- Perform maintenance duties including filling divots, raking bunkers, sweeping the range, sweeping the parking lot, and maintaining various structures such as fences and paths
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Clubhouse and its surroundings
- Assist with food and beverage set up and tear down when required
- Responsible to ensure that all rules and regulations of golf course are being followed to create a safe and friendly environment
- Respond to golfer questions, requests or concerns and resolve in a timely manner
- Direct golfers around the course if they are unfamiliar with the course layout
- Help golfers search for lost balls and maintain the pace of play
- Inform golfers of course policies and if someone is in violation address immediately
- Attempt to mediate any disputes that might arise between individuals or groups
- Track pace of play and update clubhouse of pace times
- Coordinate pace of play including requesting groups to speed up pace or allow others to play through, if appropriate
- Record and report all accidents, property damage or infractions to Clubhouse Manager
- Check pin locations match appropriate pin day
- Encourage players start promptly, recording the start time and the number of carts and players
- While on course pick up any garbage and straighten stakes, cart directional signs and ropes, replacing or adding if necessary
- Adjust as necessary, if fairway entry and exit points have mud tracks
- Communicate with other Golf Operations Attendants of any interactions that arise with a group
- Ensure all members feel welcome, are given responsive, friendly and courteous service, and that all situations are handled in an expedited manner
- Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program
- Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Previous experience as a Course Marshal or Golf Attendant is considered an asset
- Knowledge of golf and golf operations
- Smart Serve certification
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must be computer literate.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be extremely responsible with integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Required to move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Stand, sit or walk for an extended period or for an entire shift
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting and pulling
- Move over sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces
- Significant exposure to varying weather conditions
