Mill Run Golf Club is one of the largest golf and banquet facilities in Durham Region. It is a semi-private golf club set in the rolling hills of Uxbridge Township. Its members and clientele are drawn from Durham and York Regions and Metropolitan Toronto. Mill Run golf course includes 27 Championship and 18 Executive holes as well as an extensive practice and instructive area.
We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our Golf Services team. Mill Run looks to provide the highest levels of customer service to its members and guests. As apart of our staff you must work to achieve our goal of making sure every member and guest receives a high-quality experience.
Job Summary
This position is an extension of golf services with the role being predominately in the golf shop.

Job Summary
This position is an extension of golf services with the role being predominately in the golf shop.
Successful applicates will be responsible for the following duties:
- Applicants must be available to work until the end of the 2024 golf season.
- Assist the Professional Staff in the daily supervision of the Golf Operation and be an integral part of our team. The Golf Operation includes the golf shop (operations, retail and merchandising), events and tournaments, as well as daily play.
- After training, the successful candidate may become responsible for holding keys, opening and closing the golf shop.
- 4-6 shifts a week with hour flexibility being a large asset.
- Come fall months, candidate may be asked to assist in outside golf services duties.
- Wage increases to $17.20 on October 1st, 2024
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, outgoing personality, committed to future growth within the golf industry, written and spoken English
- Experience with merchandising, event management
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Professional, personable and courteous with members, guests, and co-workers
- Must have valid Drivers License and be Smart Serve Certified
- Possess the ability to learn new applications
- Comfortable handling cash/debit/credit transactions
- Completion of High School (Grade 12) is required
- Able to work shifts - days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Punctual and reliable
- Must be able to work under pressure during busy periods
