Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily turfgrass care, including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to maintain optimal playing conditions.
- Supervise landscaping activities such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and weed control to enhance course beauty and health.
- Oversee irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Coordinate construction projects related to course improvements or renovations while maintaining safety standards.
- Lead tree care initiatives including pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and aesthetics.
- Supervise staff involved in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, and general course upkeep.
- Ensure all maintenance practices adhere to environmental regulations and best practices for sustainable land management.
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or golf course groundskeeping with a focus on turf management.
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or horticultural settings.
- Strong background in lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilization, pest control, and aeration.
- Knowledge of construction processes related to course development or renovation projects.
- Familiarity with tree care practices such as pruning and health assessments.
- Experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
