Golf Shop Assistant – Stone Ridge Golf Club
We are looking for a team member to provide exceptional customer service to all guests at Stone Ridge Golf Club. This position reports to the Golf Shop Manger and GM Director of Golf. The position will assist in the day-to-day operation of the golf facility.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to continually monitor, implement and adhere to all company goals, policies, procedures and controls.
In charge of checking in and starting of players at their designated times, and maintaining a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play.
Conduct or assist in organizing and running golf tournaments, weekly events and leagues. Knowledge or familiarity with Golf Genius would be beneficial.
Maintain the golf shop in an orderly fashion regarding merchandise. Keep shelves stocked and neat.
Assist guests in the sale of merchandise, scheduling tee times, etc.
Move merchandise as necessary and assist with rotation of shop displays.
Assist in maintaining inventory control.
Responsible for cash register receipt accuracy and opening/closing accounting procedures.
Duties may include opening or closing procedures as required.
Provide golf instruction and clinics that is consistent with instructional methods, policies and procedures.
Clean and vacuum golf shop as needed.
Assist the Café with basic food and beverage needs. OLCC server permit and food handlers permit required.
Provide service in any and every way. Go the extra mile to provide the highest quality standard of service our guests expect.
Perform other duties as requested by the GM Director of Golf
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
Frequent bending turning, kneeling and stooping
Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
Must be able to stand for extended periods.
Repetitive motion required including computer entry.
Must be able to operate a golf cart in a safe manner
Normal vision and hearing ranges required.
Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School education or its equivalent.
Level One PGA preferred
OLCC liquor servers permit
Food handlers permit
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
