Responsibilities
Member Assistance and Day to Day Support
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures
- Provide general information about the club, facilities and course conditions daily
- Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and emails from membership, directing inquiries to appropriate parties
- Relay information to members about club events, golf tournaments and other happenings at the club
- Coordinate with Golf Operations, Grounds Crew, and Food & Beverage staff to ensure smooth daily flow
- Sell merchandise to members and guests utilizing POS systems
- Assist in inventory counts, shop merchandising, and other sales events at the club
- Monitor shop supplies to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained
- Understand and can share information regarding club sales, promotion and new product arrivals
- Keep Golf Shop and surrounding areas clean and organized at all times
- Assist in tournament support and organization of events
- Book tee times using the club's reservation software
- Other general duties as asked by the Head Professional
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy shop environment
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
