Based at our Cornubia location in Queensland, you will provide outstanding customer service and support the smooth operation of our golf shop, helping to create a welcoming experience for both seasoned golfers and newcomers to the sport.
What you'll be doing
Greeting customers warmly and providing knowledgeable assistance with product selection and purchases
Processing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and card payments
Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing shop environment, including stocking shelves and displays
Assisting with inventory management, including stocktaking and monitoring product availability
Providing expert advice on golf equipment, apparel and accessories to meet customer needs
Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
Supporting the team with promotional activities and merchandising displays
Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and supporting colleagues during peak trading periods
A genuine passion for golf and enthusiasm for sharing product knowledge with customers
Proven retail or customer service experience, preferably in a golf, sports or specialist retail environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers
Reliability and flexibility to work casual shifts, including weekends and peak periods as required
Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
A neat and professional appearance with attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team
Physical ability to lift and carry merchandise and stand for extended periods
Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
Available Wednesday - Sunday afternoons with shifts ranging from 10:30am - 6:00pm
Available for a minimum of 18 hours a week (weather permitting).
