Kilkea Castle is now hiring and have an excellent opportunity available for a Golf Assistant to join our team. Situated in the grounds of Kilkea Castle, which dates back to 1180, Kilkea Castle Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-70, championship golf course.
It consists of 180 acres of landscaped parkland, two man-made lakes and the River Griese, which flows majestically through the course and acts as a natural hazard.
Kilkea Castle Golf Club has to be experienced to be appreciated. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in golf and the ability to interact with our guests and members on a daily basis, to answer queries, assist with golf and resort related queries and answer calls to the golf department.
Must be professional, well presented, and reliable. Key responsibilities will include : Meet, Greet & Check in golfers Operate the golf booking system Problem solving and dealing with the daily guest enquiries, requests and expectations Deliver exceptional customer care and guest service Cleaning and General Maintenance of Golf Shop, Golf Facilities to include equipment, buggies etc.
Qualifications : Excellent spoken English Flexible with a positive attitude Excellent Customer Service Skills Experience / Qualifications Some knowledge of Golf is preferable but not essential.
Must have a positive attitude and be willing to work weekends as weekend work is an essential part of the role. A friendly positive can-do-attitude Be committed to delivering exceptional service Job Types : Part-time, Permanent Expected hours : 24 40 hours per week depending on seasonal requirements.
