Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their visit
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Assist with product demos, showcasing golf equipment, apparel, and accessories to customers
- Upsell merchandise by recommending suitable products based on customer needs and preferences
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling with precision
- Conduct inventory checks, stock shelves regularly, and assist with product ordering as needed
- Provide information about golf shop products and services via phone or in person while practicing professional phone etiquette
- Support supervising staff in daily operations and help train new team members when necessary
- Golf Cart Management; cleaning, staging, and fueling.
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a golf shop or specialty retail environment
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Experience supervising or leading team members is a plus but not required
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently through demos or explanations
- Customer service background with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash, making change, and managing sales accurately
- Knowledge of golf is advantageous but not essential
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
