Wynmoor, a large gated adult condominium community in Coconut Creek is seeking a Golf Course and Grounds Assistant Mechanic.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the fleet of equipment for the Golf and Grounds Departments with the Head Mechanic.
• Knowledge of all equipment associated with golf and grounds operation; small engines, mowing decks, wheels, rollers, sharpening techniques, drive trains, general vehicle repair and maintenance, proper use of equipment.
• Determine equipment needs and parts supply to execute duties.
• Maintain an accurate parts inventory.

Candidate requirements:

• Must be able to operate golf and grounds equipment properly and safely.
• Must be highly proficient in the operation of grinding reels and bed knives, setting height of cut and providing quality cuts.
• Maintain accurate records of all equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Knowledge of associated computer programs.
• Available to work weekends and holidays as emergencies arise.
• Skills in both verbal and written communication.
• Have a valid Florida Driver's License.
• Must pass drug test screening and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
