Warkworth Golf Club is looking for a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Golf Administrator to join our team in a part-time role. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, has good administration skills, and has a genuine interest in golf and club life. About the Role The Golf Administrator is responsible for supporting the smooth running of club competitions, tournaments, events and key administrative functions at Warkworth Golf Club. The role is part-time, with flexible days and hours by agreement. Some weekend work will be required from time to time to support club events and tournaments. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and manage club competitions, tournaments, corporate golf days and other golf events. • Co-ordinate the junior golf programme. • Liaise with members, volunteers, sponsors and staff to ensure successful delivery of Club activities. • Support the day-to-day administrative functions of the Club. • Help ensure events and competitions are well organised and professionally run. About You We are looking for someone who is reliable, approachable and confident working in a busy club environment. The ideal applicant will have: • A good understanding or knowledge of golf. • Strong organisation and time management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Confidence using computers and general administration systems. • Previous experience using DotGolf, Golf Genius or similar golf club management software would be advantageous. • The ability to work well with members, volunteers, staff and visitors. • A practical, calm and helpful approach. Experience in golf club administration or event administration would be well regarded.
