Golf Administrator – Avondale Golf Club
Avondale Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Golf Administrator to join our team. This role supports the Golf Administration Manager in delivering high-quality golf operations and member services, reflecting the Club’s proud traditions and values.
About the Role
As Golf Administrator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of golf competitions, events, and member services. You’ll work closely with the Golf Administration Manager, Club Captains, and Proshop staff to ensure smooth and professional delivery of all golfing activities.

About the Role
As Golf Administrator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of golf competitions, events, and member services. You’ll work closely with the Golf Administration Manager, Club Captains, and Proshop staff to ensure smooth and professional delivery of all golfing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversight of Administering the Clubs Program of Events
Including but not limited to:
Prepare and manage MiClub timesheets, competition and leaderboard set ups and other MiClub related processes
Update and Publish Terms of Competition for various significant Club events
Assist the Golf Administration to develop and produce the annual fixture book
Maintain Member handicaps and interact with Golflink/GolfConnect
Ensure golf result record keeping is maintained and up to date
Update Golf Components within the NorthStar Runsheets
Provide support for the Captain, Lady Captain and Match Committee
Assist the Golf Administration Manager in action various Sub-Committee Key Action Items
Assist in the Administration and Running of Key Club Events including Avondale Amateur, Avondale Seniors Medal, Ladies Silver & Broinze Salver, Club Presentation Night, and Junior Fundraiser Day.
Assist in the Administration and Running of Pennant Hosting days
Assist in the Administration and Running of all Corporate Golf Days
Any other activities required from time to time to enable the smooth operation of the Club’s golfing activities
Involvement in the Junior Development Committee and Scholarship Golf Program
Facilitating Reciprocal Booking Enquiries within Club guidelines
Preparation of Letters of Introduction, and recording of rounds data including reciprocal visits
Contribute to the Club’s weekly e-newsletter
Oversight and Updating of Golf related areas of the website including News Tiles, Updating of Results, Representative Teams and Hole in Ones.
General interaction with Club Members and assisting Members when required
Managing the Clubs driving range; including key routine tasks, casual staff rostering, volunteer management and equipment oversight.
Oversee and Administer Verifeye Pace of Play Infrastructure and Reporting
Generating Weekly Pace of Play Reports
Carry out Course Marshalling duties on key member competition days
About You
Experience in golf administration or a related field (MiClub experience preferred)
Strong customer service ethic and communication skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
High attention to detail and organisational skills
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Proficient in MiClub (preferred)
Experience with Northstar POS (beneficial)
Experience and knowledge within the golf industry
Successful candidate will possess:
Excellent customer service skills and a strong customer service ethic
Ability to work independently
Extensive oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
A high degree of flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing and new situations
Attention to detail
Flexibility with the ability to work on weekends (Sunday to Thursday work week with the occasional Saturday shift required)
