*About the Opportunity* A well-established golf course in Newport Beach is seeking an energetic, dynamic, and experienced General Manager to lead its overall operations. The ideal candidate for this pivotal role will possess a passion for hospitality and excellent leadership skills. While this role oversees the entirety of the property, a primary focus will be the club's restaurant and bar operation, making this an ideal opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader who thrives on the food & beverage side of the business. As the face of the operation, you will foster a vibrant, welcoming environment that promotes excellence in service, safety, and facility maintenance. *What You'll Do* * Oversee day-to-day operations across the property, with a primary focus on the restaurant and bar * Lead, train, and develop front- and back-of-house staff to deliver a consistently excellent guest experience * Manage budgets, P&L, inventory, and vendor relationships for the F&B operation * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations * Be hands-on behind the bar when needed, jumping in during peak times or to model service standards * Partner with ownership on strategic decisions affecting the broader golf and hospitality operation * Monitor guest feedback and industry trends to continuously improve the member/guest experience *What We're Looking For* * Prior experience as a *General Manager in a restaurant or hospitality F&B setting* (required) * *Bartending experience* strongly preferred, with a real understanding of bar operations and the ability to step in hands-on * Strong leadership and staff culture development skills * Experience managing budgets, cost controls, and vendor relationships * Excellent communication and guest-service orientation with an emphasis on true hospitality * Golf course, country club, or private club experience a plus, but not required _*\*Please note that candidates who do not complete the screening questions will not be considered.\**_ Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Application Question(s): * How many years of experience do you have as a General Manager in a restaurant or bar setting, and what was the approximate size/volume of that operation (covers per day, annual revenue, etc.)? * Do you have hands-on bartending experience? What did you do and what was the result? * This role oversees a broader hospitality/golf property, with restaurant and bar as the primary focus. Are you open to working within that structure, and do you have any experience operating within a larger multi-department property (club, resort, hotel, etc.)? * Tell us about a team or staff culture you built or significantly improved.
