Sun City Grand/The Grand is the premier active, age-restricted community in Arizona. We are currently seeking part-time food service workers for our golf course snack bars. This role involves preparing and serving food and beverages to homeowners and guests at the golf course snack bar and pool area, ensuring high-quality service and cleanliness. Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintain a professional demeanor, and contribute to a positive experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Snack Bar Duties · Greet and serve homeowners and guests in a friendly and efficient manner; · Prepare and serve food items such as sandwiches, snacks, and beverages; · Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately; · Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed; · Maintain cleanliness of the snack bar, equipment, and surrounding areas; · Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines; Pool Area Duties · Take food and beverage orders from guests at the pool area; · Deliver orders promptly and accurately to poolside guests; · Maintain a clean and safe poolside environment; · Ensure trash and used items are regularly removed from guest areas; · Monitor guest behavior to ensure compliance with pool safety and facility rules; General · Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times; · Handle customer complaints or concerns with courtesy and escalate as necessary; · Comply with all state, local and Sun City Grand Community Association laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol; · Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance; · Assist with event set-up and service for pool or golf related functions; · Keep current with events and activities occurring at The Grand; and · Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: · High school graduate or equivalent and customer service experience; or a combination of education, experience, and training that indicates the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position listed above. · Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred, not required. · Excellent customer service and communication skills. · Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings. · Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs. · Must possess, and maintain, a valid Arizona driver’s license. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must obtain, and maintain, a food handler’s card & TIPS training within 30 days of hire. Environmental Factors: outdoor and indoor work settings, exposure to sun, heat, and varying weather conditions. \*Offers of employment are conditional upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background screening.\* Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $15.15 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Paid sick time * Paid training License/Certification: * Arizona Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
