Food & Beverage Manager @ Seven Bridges Golf Club
The Food and Beverage Manager is a member of the senior staff and is responsible for working with the Director of Hospitality executing the oversight of the entire F&B operation with emphasis on staff training & development, exceptional service, as well as beverage programs. The Food and Beverage Manager will report directly to the Hospitality Director, Director of Banquet Sales, and Head Chef. Additionally, this individual must maintain a high level of communication skills in dealing with club guests, managers, and staff. Proficient knowledge of staff training and development, banquet and dining supervision, and point-of-sale computer operations is essential. The Food and Beverage Manager will work directly with the Director of Hospitality to acquire the skills and authority to act in the Manager on Duty role, in the absence of the Hospitality Director.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality guest experiences in all club venues which consistently meet and exceed guest expectations and help foster a sense of community pride in the operations of the club.
- Maintain contact with guests and club staff and be directly responsible for guest satisfaction. Be highly visible by working hours at which guests are likely to be using club facilities, which are often weekend, evening, and holiday hours. Also, be visible to club staff by working varied hours to maximize staff confidence in management.
- Participate in ongoing facility inspections throughout the club to assure that cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and other standards are consistently attained.
- Ensure that all dining rooms and bars produce high-quality products promptly.
- Participate in weekly meetings with Golf and Banquets to ensure proper communication regarding outings and events.
- This successful candidate will work closely with the events planner on the property and will work collaboratively with other departments to plan and execute events.
- Be a collaborative team player who is “hands-on” daily within the operation.
- Be a focused and consistent evaluator of personnel, ensuring that standards of conduct and delivery are met to include oversight of high standards of appearance, hospitality, service, and cleanliness of the clubhouse facilities.
- An associate's degree in hospitality is preferred or 2 + years of food and beverage Management experience.
- Outstanding Ala Carte and beverage service skills and knowledge.
- High energy and outgoing personality with daily guest interaction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical to this position.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Labor management.
- Inventory management.
- Running an event of up to 260 guests.
- Front-of-house floor management experience.
- Beverage ordering.
- Sales and marketing experience. (ability to sell private event space)
