Northern Golf Club is a premier private golf club, offering an exceptional experience for our members. Alongside a beautifully maintained championship course, the Club hosts a range of corporate and private functions, delivering high-quality hospitality in a welcoming and professional environment.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, maintaining high service standards, and leading a dynamic team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager/CFO, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all front-of-house operations, including bar, catering, and functions

  • Leading, training, and mentoring a team across multiple service areas

  • Managing stock control, POS systems, and cash handling procedures

  • Delivering exceptional service standards to members and guests

  • Assisting in the promotion and delivery of club events and functions

  • Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing laws, workplace safety, and club policies

  • Supporting continuous improvement across hospitality operations
Key Responsibilities

Administration & Financial

  • Monitor bar and catering performance, including revenue and cost control

  • Manage stock ordering and inventory processes

  • Ensure adherence to all club policies and procedures
People & Culture

  • Supervise, roster, and train front-of-house staff

  • Promote a positive team culture and high performance standards

  • Ensure compliance with OH&S and workplace relations requirements
Operations & Service Delivery

  • Maintain high presentation standards across all service areas

  • Oversee day-to-day service, functions, and events

  • Engage with members and guests to enhance their experience
About You

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in hospitality, including time in a leadership or supervisory role

  • Golf club or private club experience highly regarded

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service

  • Professional presentation and a calm, solutions-focused approach

  • Ability to lead by example and develop team capability

  • Current First Aid & CPR certification

  • Valid Australian working rights
Work Availability

  • Availability between 6:00am – 9:00pm, Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster

  • Must be available to work one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) each week
