We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanic to join our team. The Mechanic will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Farm Manager to ensure the ongoing maintenance and repair of machinery across the two businesses.
The successful applicant will be responsible for repairing, servicing and performing diagnostics across all farm and golf course machinery, working primarily from the well-maintained 3 bay workshop located onsite.
The role is full-time equivalent.

The Position
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanic to join our team. The Mechanic will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Farm Manager to ensure the ongoing maintenance and repair of machinery across the two businesses.
The successful applicant will be responsible for repairing, servicing and performing diagnostics across all farm and golf course machinery, working primarily from the well-maintained 3 bay workshop located onsite.
The role is full-time equivalent.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Inspecting and diagnosing issues with agricultural and golf course equipment and machinery
- Repairing and replacing defective parts in engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components
- Performing regular preventive maintenance on machinery, including oil changes, cleaning and parts replacement
- Working with electronic diagnostic equipment and computer software to troubleshoot and fix issues
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Keep appropriate records pertaining to service, maintenance and stock inventory for equipment and parts
- Complete welding works, auto electrical and hydraulic repairs as required
- Undertake other general duties as directed by Course Superintendent and Farm Manager
- Perform additional duties as required
- Minimum 2yrs experience in diesel engine maintenance, cart maintenance and/or other equipment
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills and experience
- Advanced troubleshooting experience
- Computer skills including technical diagnosis
- Knowledge in welding, auto electrics and in hydraulics systems
- Able to prioritise equipment repair and maintenance work relative to golf course requirements
- An ability to work well autonomously and within a team
- Flexibility to work across a variety of machinery
- An honest, responsive and reliable approach to the position
- Knowledge of WHS standards and always adhere to workplace safety standards
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and an uncompromising attitude towards quality of workmanship
- Valid driver's licence
The successful candidate will report to the Superintendent.
