We are seeking a dynamic, versatile Family Assistant to support a busy, vibrant Bellevue / West Meade (Nashville) household. This multifaceted part-time role blends attentive childcare and safe kid driving with enrichment teaching and day-to-day household help so mom can live her best life. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm for children plus real strength in at least one enrichment area: golf instruction, piano, violin/fiddle, vocal performance, or broader educator experience. You’ll help create a nurturing environment that promotes growth, creativity, confidence, and well-being for homeschooled kids who still need after-hours structure, transport, and skill coaching. Pay is $25.00 per hour, Monday–Thursday, mainly afternoons and evenings. *Responsibilities* * Safely drive children to activities, lessons, practices, errands, and appointments in our family vehicles, following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean driving record * Support daily routines: schoolwork assistance, light meal help, activity logistics, and afternoon/evening structure for homeschooled kids * Provide engaging golf instruction tailored to skill level, with focus on technique, confidence, and sportsmanship (when that is your strength) * Teach piano, violin/fiddle, and/or vocal lessons with attention to fundamentals, performance skills, and genuine enjoyment of music (when that is your strength) * Bring educator energy: clear lesson structure, encouragement, and age-appropriate coaching that builds discipline without killing curiosity * Assist with household management as needed: wash-and-fold laundry, light tidy-up, dog walks, errands, and flexible “whatever mom needs” support * Keep open, calm communication with parents on logistics, skill progress, and anything important observed with the kids * Jump in on creative or practical projects when useful (arts, music practice setup, photography, light cooking, etc.) without needing to be an expert in every craft *Qualifications* * Proven experience with children in childcare, education, coaching, or family settings * Strong preference for a Golf Instructor, Piano Teacher, Violin/Fiddle Instructor, Vocal Coach, music teacher, tutor, or former educator * Comfort and skill driving children; excellent safety habits and navigation * Must drive our vehicles and carry adequate personal auto insurance (proof required) * Background check and reference check required; we will speak with at least two client references, co-workers, coaches, mentors, educators, or church members * Ability to multitask in a lively home while staying warm, discreet, organized, and responsive to mom’s direction * Familiarity with childhood development and positive behavior support is a plus * Extra skills (cooking, sewing, photography, dance, theater, early childhood curricula) are welcome but not required *Schedule & pay* * Monday–Thursday, mainly afternoons and evenings (hours flex with the kids’ calendar) * $25.00 per hour * Bellevue / West Meade, Nashville, TN If you love nurturing kids through arts, sports, and steady household support, we’d love to hear from you.
