Job Title: Golf Tournament Events Professional

Job Pay Range: $19/hr.

As a member of the Golf team, this role will work directly with the tournament/events manager and all group clients in the booking and coordination of all group events and assists Tournament Events Manager in scoring, cart preparation, amenities, and supervises other staff assisting with groups.

What you will be doing:

• Work closely with the Tournament/Events Manager in the planning and coordinating of golf groups
• Input names and pairings of group events and print out cart signs, score cards
• Prepare and expedite contracts to group clients for all golf groups
• Ensure that the golf courses are being booked to capacity producing maximum profitability
• Work with groups to ensure accuracy of scoring and their intended style of play
• Work with fellow staff to ensure a consistent level of preparedness and presentation that are up to BROADMOOR standards
• Work with group contacts to ensure accuracy and follow-though on amenity requests
• Prepare tournament scoring and results and work with the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional in all aspects of the golf operation
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or GED and college degree (B.A.) required.
• Experience as a Golf Professional or working in a similar capacity preferred
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs. with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times
