Clublinks operates Moore Park Golf, Sydney’s premier Golf entertainment venue on behalf of the Centennial Parklands and Moore Park Trust (Trust). Located within 5km from the CBD, the Moore Park Precinct is a sought-after entertainment and recreation destination for the local community and beyond.
Each year Moore Park Golf has over 22 million golf balls hit on the driving range, 75,000 rounds of golf played and 25,000 golf coaching experiences; Moore Park is a one stop golfing and entertainment destination.
The Role
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of functions and events across Moore Park Golf through the management of enquiries, staff and hospitality offerings on site.
The successful candidate will have a strong hospitality background (in the functions & events space) coupled with great leadership skills and a passion for providing clients with exceptional customer service.

This role is pivotal to the success of the hospitality & events business at Moore Park Golf and responsibilities will include:
- Manage all enquiries and guest reservations from first point of contact to the successful delivery of all functions and events across the Precinct
- Manage multiple event enquiries at once, prepare quotes and follow-up leads with a high conversion rate
- Conduct engaging site inspections for all potential clients interested in holding functions or events at Moore Park Golf
- Identify new business opportunities in the areas of special events, conferences, and weddings to reach function budgets
- Drive and support the daily set up and pack down of event spaces across the site as per company standards
- Ensure the exceptional delivery of all functions and events, making sure customer service standards are met and that staff are held accountable for service delivery
- Daily supervision of Event and F&B staff including but not limited to daily direction and support and dealing with unacceptable performance or conduct
- Support with stock and inventory management, with special attention to Function & Event needs – including ordering and stock takes
- Controlling costs in line with the approved budgets, taking special consideration with event demands and staff wages
- Ensure invoices are paid prior event, following up on outstanding accounts
- Excellent communication and time management skills with proven ability to multitask
- Energetic and vibrant approach with the ability to bring new ideas to life
- Highly motivated and an exceptional self-starter
- Strong leadership qualities with a 'hands-on' approach
- Current RSA certificate and police check
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate (preferred)
- Experience in high volume venues and events
- 2 years Hospitality/Event experience
- Availability on evenings and weekends
