JOB TITLE: Dishwasher
DEPARTMENT: We-Ko-Pa Golf Club – Food and Beverage
REPORTS TO: Kitchen Manager
POSITION STATUS: Full and Part Time
Position Description:
Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all service ware, floors, receiving area, and storage rooms. Shall represent the club in a professional and exemplary manner and promote the success of the club to guests, staff, and any other parties.
Essential Functions:
Essential functions may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. This list of tasks is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards: Smile and Greet, name and Meet, Thank You, and Goodbye.
Responsible for cleaning and stocking of all service ware and cooking utensils.
Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
Keeps the dish area free of clutter and organized.
Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions.
Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.
Provide complete guest satisfaction by ensuring all service ware is clean and spot-free.
Assist service staff in clearing and setting tables during catered functions and periods of high levels of business.
Maintain cleanliness standards for the kitchen, including scrubbing kitchen mats and removing all garbage.
Provide the type of service that exceeds guests’ expectations.
Additional Duties and Qualifications:
Must have Food Service Workers License.
Assist kitchen staff in prepping food in accordance to set standards.
Hold yourself, your supervisors, and your co-workers to the highest standards.
Work together with management to establish an environment in which everyone is informed and involved.
Know the dish machine operation and sanitation procedures. Ensure safety standards are practiced.
