This role is crucial to our kitchen’s operations, ensuring that all kitchenware, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the dishwashing machine, including loading, running, and unloading.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing machine and promptly report any issues.
- Clean and organize all dishes, utensils, and cookware according to established protocols.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the dish room.
- Ensure there is a sufficient supply of clean dishes and utensils for both the dining area and kitchen.
- Properly dispose of dish room garbage by bagging and taking it to the dumpster at scheduled times.
- Previous experience as a dishwasher is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Must have High School Diploma.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively.
- Displays professionalism.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
