Located at the base of the picturesque Dandenong Ranges, Eastwood Golf Club is recognised as one of the premier golf destinations in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Alongside our superb 18-hole course, the Club also boasts two bowls greens and a spacious clubhouse featuring dedicated member and function areas. We pride ourselves on offering a welcoming and inclusive environment, delivering top-tier facilities and exceptional service to members and guests alike.
We are currently seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Director of Golf to lead our Golf Operations. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing the member experience, driving financial performance, and elevating Eastwood’s overall golf offering.
As a key member of the Club’s Senior Management Team, the Director of Golf will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of Golf Operations
- Manage Golf Retail Operations and inventory
- Drive green fee and corporate golf business opportunities
- Coordinate and deliver member-related golf events
- Lead and develop the Golf Shop team
- Oversee coaching and tuition services in alignment with Club objectives
- Collaborate with the General Manager to drive financial performance
Key Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should demonstrate:
- PGA qualification
- Proficiency with MiClub Golf Systems
- In-depth knowledge of the Rules of Golf
- Strong understanding of private club and golf management environments
- Proven experience in team leadership and staff development
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
