Alaska Sim 72 is looking for friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our Anchorage team. As an Indoor Golf Associate, you'll help create an exceptional experience for every guest—from welcoming first-time visitors and teaching them how to use our state-of-the-art golf simulators to serving beverages, assisting with reservations, and ensuring our facility operates smoothly. While golf experience is helpful, it is not required. We provide comprehensive training on our simulator technology and operations. We're looking for team members who enjoy working with people, take initiative, solve problems, and take pride in delivering outstanding hospitality.
Job Description
Required Qualification
● Excellent customer service and communication skills
● Willingness to take initiative and be a problem solver
● Must be responsible, accountable, and have a high level of integrity
● Must be the age of 21+
● Must be able to use a 6ft ladder
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience working in the service or hospitality industry
● Cash handling experience
● Basic knowledge of golf and the golf industry
● Comfortable working with technology
● TAP certified (not required, but will need to complete certification prior to first day)
Duties
● Perform daily customer service duties to ensure a positive customer experience and efficient business operation including;
○ Welcoming guests, checking them in, and assisting as needed throughout their visit ○ Training new guests on how to properly use the golf simulators
○ Troubleshoot the simulator equipment if an issues arises
○ Service of food and beverage
○ Taking guest reservations online, via phone, and walk ins
○ Using a POS system to run customer tabs and complete the checkout process
○ Restocking food and beverage coolers
○ Light cleaning duties
● Reports directly to the manager
● 90 day probationary period
Wage
● Starting wage will be depending on experience, plus tips.
Work Hours
● Work hours will generally be set for the season, but may vary from month to month based on scheduling needs - can include self-scheduling (switching or covering) with other employees for shift coverage as needed.
