Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items quickly and accurately, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions, food orders, and cash handling efficiently.
- Take customer orders with a friendly attitude, upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and dining areas regularly.
- Manage food safety protocols by handling food properly and adhering to sanitation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, and warming stations, to support fast-paced service.
- Process cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service in a quick service or fast food environment.
- Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving correct change.
- Experience in food safety management and sanitation practices within the food industry is desirable.
