Prestwick Country Club, A Division of The Jackson Companies in Myrtle Beach, SC, is actively seeking motivated, energetic individuals for our Assistant Golf Pro II position. The ideal candidate assists the Head Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day Golf Operations of the facility by supervising and managing the total golf operations in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.
A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ASSISTANT GOLF PRO II
As an Assistant Golf Pro II, every day is different. There are days where the Assistant is in the office answering emails and phone calls, then there are days where they might be on the lesson tee with students. At Prestwick Country Club, we have a very active golf event schedule, so a lot of our time goes into preparing and administering these activities. It takes time to be great; so as an Assistant Golf Pro, you strive every day to be organized and detail driven to ensure that our guests have the best experience possible while visiting with us! Although there are always opportunities to get out and play, you are consumed more with providing a great golf experience. You are a trusted asset to the local golf community! And visiting players know they can always stop by the Pro Shop to chat about the game; whether it's golf swing tips, rules questions, equipment options, and just plain ol' camaraderie.
WORK SCHEDULE
Prestwick Country Club operates 7 days a week. Our Teammates must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and/or holidays as well as overtime hours as necessary.
