Golf Shop Attendant is a part time position
Job Summary: The Golf Shop Attendant works in every facet of the Golf Shop operation, communicating effectively and efficiently with guests, members, staff, and Golf Professionals to ensure a quality and lasting experience for all customer types.
Job Responsibilities/Duties: Answer phone calls, take tee times, operate tee sheet and point of sale system, assist customers with merchandise, have basic knowledge of product carried in the shop and be able to display salesmanship, all while displaying superior customer service. Assist the outside service team when necessary, and complete any additional tasks or duties as assigned by the Golf Professional staff.
Experience/Education: Previous experience with cash handling in a retail setting is a plus. Guest-facing experience also a plus, but will train the right candidate.
Essential Functions: Be able to stand for extended periods of time, multitask, prioritize in pressure situations, and lift packages/items up to 50lbs. in weight. Working outside for short to medium lengths is possible as well.
