Open until Filled The City of Deming is seeking qualified applicants for a Cook for the Rio Mimbres Golf Course. Selected applicants will perform a variety of duties focused on delivering high-quality food, service, and exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong ethical standards, professionalism, and a service- oriented approach to ensure an outstanding guest experience. Responsibilities include preparing food according to established standards and customer specifications, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area, checking food and ingredients for freshness, and ensuring compliance with applicable health department regulations and all Rio Mimbres Golf Course Bar and Restaurant operational and customer service guidelines. Minimum Qualification Standards: • Ability to develop constructive working and interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers • Food safety training will be considered an asset • Hands on experience with cash register and any ordering information system A valid New Mexico driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. This position is full-time seasonal/temporary, will not exceed 6 months, and does not include fringe benefits.
