About the Opportunity:

Seattle Golf Fitness is hiring a full-time Strength and Conditioning Coach / Sports Performance Coach specializing in golf performance training in Seattle.

We provide golf-specific strength and conditioning programs designed to improve mobility, rotational power, speed, injury prevention, and on-course performance.

This role is ideal for an S&C coach with a background in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Performance, or Sports Performance who wants to work with competitive golfers, executives, and high-performing athletes.




Key Responsibilities:

Performance Assessments & Program Design
  • Conduct movement screens, physical performance testing, and client intake assessments
  • Evaluate mobility, strength, stability, power, and rotational mechanics
  • Design individualized strength and conditioning programs for golfers
  • Integrate performance data into long-term athletic development plans



Coaching & Training Delivery
  • Deliver one-on-one and semi-private sports performance sessions
  • Coach strength training, speed training, mobility, and power development
  • Provide hands-on cueing and exercise demonstration
  • Track and monitor progress using performance software



Collaboration
  • Work alongside golf instructors and medical professionals
  • Utilize TrackMan and GC Hawk simulator data to inform programming
  • Contribute to team meetings and performance discussions



Professional Standards
  • Maintain a polished, professional presence
  • Build long-term client relationships
  • Mentor interns and support developing coaches



Facility & Equipment:

Our Seattle performance facility includes:
  • Rogue strength equipment
  • Keiser functional training systems
  • Squat racks, sleds, turf training area
  • Cable machines and free weights
  • Access to Mercer Island Golf Club indoor simulators



Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or related field
  • 2+ years experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer, or Sports Performance Coach
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Passion for golf and athletic development



Preferred Qualifications:
  • NSCA CSCS certification
  • TPI certification
  • Experience working with competitive or professional athletes
  • Background in golf fitness or rotational sports performance



Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to demonstrate exercises and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable standing and coaching for extended periods
  • Active, hands-on coaching environment



Compensation Package:
  • $70,000 – $100,000 annual compensation
