Golf in Society is looking for a motivated and community-minded individual to help grow our Golf in Society sessions across Dumfries and Galloway.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting people in your local area to get active, connect with others and improve their health and wellbeing through Goof.

THE ROLE

You’ll work closely with the Golf in Society team, local partners and golf clubs to coordinate and support the growth of Golf in Society sessions across Dumfries and Galloway. This will include engaging with new and existing venues, building relationships with key stakeholders, and helping to ensure sessions are inclusive, accessible and well attended.

What We’re Looking For


  • Passion for community, wellbeing and inclusion
  • Good communication and relationship building skills
  • Organised, proactive and self-motivated
  • Experience in community development, health or sport (desirable but not essential)
Key Responsibilities

  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (for which mileage will be reimbursed)
Coordinate and support the delivery and growth of Golf in Society sessions in Dumfries and Galloway


  • Work with local golf clubs, community organisations and health partners
  • Promote the sessions and raise awareness in the local community
  • Recruit and support volunteers and session helpers
  • Gather feedback and help measure impact
  • Support the wider team with events and initiatives
