TGA of Fairfax is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable PGA Jr. League Golf Coach to help lead our teams during the Fall 2026 season.
This is a great opportunity for a golf professional, experienced instructor, college golfer, coach, or strong player who enjoys working with junior golfers and wants to help create a fun, positive team environment.

Compensation
Competitive hourly/session-based compensation based on golf, teaching, and coaching experience.

About the Role
As a PGA Jr. League Coach, you will help players develop their golf skills while creating an encouraging, team-oriented experience. Responsibilities may include:
- Coaching PGA Jr. League practices and matches
- Teaching age-appropriate golf fundamentals, rules, etiquette, and course management
- Organizing practices that are structured, active, and fun
- Preparing players for team matches and helping manage lineups/pairings
- Creating a positive and inclusive environment for golfers of varying skill levels
- Communicating professionally with parents, players, TGA staff, and golf facility staff
- Maintaining player safety and appropriate supervision at all times
- Representing TGA professionally at practices, matches, and partner facilities
Ideal candidates will have:
- Strong knowledge of golf fundamentals and rules
- Experience playing, teaching, or coaching golf
- A genuine interest in working with children and junior golfers
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Dependability and the ability to manage a group of young athletes
- Reliable transportation
- Availability for scheduled fall practices and matches
