Duties
- Provide high-quality golf instruction to individuals and groups, focusing on skill development and game improvement.
- Develop and implement engaging golf clinics, workshops, and junior programs to attract new players.
- Educate students on the fundamentals of golf, including swing mechanics, course management, and etiquette.
- Collaborate with other sports professionals to create cross-training opportunities that may include martial arts, basketball, cheerleading, or physical education activities.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and fulfilling.
- Assist in organizing tournaments, events, and leagues that promote participation in the sport.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in golf instruction to continually improve teaching methods.
- Previous experience working with students of various ages in a coaching or instructional capacity is preferred.
- Familiarity with other sports or physical activities such as martial arts (including judo), basketball, or climbing can be beneficial.
- A background in childcare or youth education is advantageous for engaging younger participants effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire players to reach their goals in golf.
- A passion for promoting health and wellness through sports is essential for success in this role.
