Cottesloe Golf Club is one of the leading private golf clubs in Australia and is highly regarded in Perth. Located in Swanbourne, Western Australia, Cottesloe Golf Club has been in existence since 1908 and has a reputation for excellence in service to members and their guests.
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified full-time Chef to join the kitchen team and work a varied roster of morning, lunch, dinner (limited), weekday and weekend shifts.
Bringing positive energy and a can-do approach you will join a kitchen team focused on the delivery of exceptional modern dishes across our a la carte, casual dining, function cocktail and sit-down events.
As an integral part of the kitchen team you will ensure the highest levels of food preparation and delivering an excellent dining experience for our guests.
Reporting to the Head Chef, responsibilities will include:

Reporting to the Head Chef, responsibilities will include:
- Ensure all food preparation meets standards
- Prepare and present high quality food and help to create menus
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
- Prepare all mis-en-place for all relevant menus
- Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Have a keen eye for detail and presentation, maintain the strictest level of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene and be highly organised and punctual.
- Vibrant and awesome energy
- Safe Food handling certification
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery or higher (3rd year apprentice accepted)
- Be self-motivated and ambitious, passionate about food.
- Enjoy working under pressure, being busy.
- Be able to work closely with others, be good natured and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
- Be available weekdays, weekends and nights (limited).
