TEMPORARY FULL TIME - STAFF ASSISTANT – Cascades Golf Course
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for supervision of pro shop attendants, Starter/Ranger attendants, and Cart/Driving Range attendants. Opening and closing of clubhouse, operate Point of Sale software, cash drawers, accounting of daily receipts, checking in tee times, telephone etiquette, customer service, retail shop sales, serving food, maintenance of food service area, cleaning, and overseeing/running leagues and/or junior camps. Other duties as required. Report to Manager of Golf Facilities.
EDUCATION:
High school education or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
Must have golf course experience and strong customer relation skills. Ability to work well with people, to follow directions and work independently. Must be self-motivated. Must have knowledge of golf rules and etiquette. Must have computer point of sale, cash drawer, and food service knowledge. Must have alcohol serving license or able to obtain one.
HOURS:
Hours arranged between 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., including week nights and weekends. 25-40 hours per week.
SALARY RANGE:
$17.49 - $17.69 per hour based on knowledge, skill, and applicable experience.
