1872 Golf Club is Georgetown's indoor golf club and lounge — Foresight Falcon simulators, a full bar, leagues, tournaments, and private events. We're named for the year the Rules of Golf were first written down, and we run the place with that same respect for doing things right.
We're hiring a Bartender / Golf Experience Host: the person behind the bar and on the floor who makes this feel like a club instead of a business.

What the job actually is
You're the face of the place. On a given shift you'll:
- Greet guests, get them set up in a bay, and make sure they leave wanting to come back
- Build and serve cocktails, beer, and wine — and know our menu well enough to recommend
- Learn our members by name, drink, and handicap
- Help guests understand memberships, league nights, and event bookings when it's a natural fit — this is hospitality, not a sales floor, and there's commission when it works out
- Run the bay tech: get groups started on GSPro, swap courses, troubleshoot
- Keep the club sharp — clean bar, stocked coolers, tidy bays, opens and closes done right
- Check IDs and serve responsibly, every time
Required
- 21+ with a TABC certification (or willing to get one before your first shift — we'll point you to the course)
- Experience in hospitality where the guest interaction mattered — bar, restaurant, hotel, country club, retail, anywhere you were trusted with people
- Availability on evenings and weekends. That's when a golf club is alive
- Comfortable handling cash and card payments
- Able to lift 25–30 lbs and stay on your feet through a shift
- Bartending or mixology background
- You play golf, or you're curious enough to learn the difference between a fade and a slice
- Experience running events, leagues, or private parties
- Texas Food Handler card
