Position Purpose
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The City of Arvada operates two golf club restaurants; responsible for mixing and serving drinks to customers and servers; ensures customer satisfaction through providing the best possible service standards.
** Tip Eligible Position
Job Functions / Scope of Authority
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide excellent customer service to patrons; pick up alcohol; inventory all alcohol; produce consumption report; stock glassware and ice; prepare mixes and garnishes; keep track of drinks served; follow guidelines given to ensure proper service; operate and reconcile cash register; maintain clean and orderly work area; assist in other areas as necessary during events; follow closing procedures; perform additional duties as assigned; attend meetings and training.
Working Environment / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years or older, 1 year of previous bartending experience and good customer service skills; knowledge and enforcement of liquor code; ability to operate cash register. Ability to lift up 50 lbs occasionally.

The City of Arvada does not offer benefits to temporary and/or seasonal employees. Temporary, Variable Hour and Health Plan Eligible employees will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum cap of 48 hours.
