Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and outgoing front of house professional to join our team! In this dynaimic role, you will welcome customers into the coffee shop and prepare their coffee orders, as well as tend to the alcohol bar and most importantly oversee the indoor golf program. A strong background in full service restaurants is the key to success in our fast paced workplace. Our goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their drinks and time at our shop from the minute they enter and throughout their entire stay. The ideal candidate has strong computer skills (important for the golf handling) and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. We will train the coffee and drink production but candidate must come with recent prior experience in restaurants.Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smile, casual conversation, and attention to detail.
• Prepare orders accurately and with care and consideration to the house recipes and processes
• Be knowledgeable and tuned in to our evolving program and be able to hand sell items to curious guests.
• Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, matchas, teas and sodas from basic to more complex
• Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
• Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
• Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Nassau County Dept of Health Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, think on your feet.
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Self motivation to keep up with daily tasks
