Glen Abbey Golf Club is Hiring! Banquet Bartender RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide assistance to servers in the banquet/restaurant and/or patio with table service to guests. Assist with set up and tear down of banquet functions. Provide guests with beverage selections, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic in restaurant and banquet settings. Prepare beverages in accordance with provincial liquor laws and club standards. Maintain inventory of beers, wines and spirits. Set up and dismantling of bars - both service and public. Responsible for personal shift accounting procedures. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED: Excellent Interpersonal Skills. Ability to work well under pressure and independently. A self-starter and team player. Smart Serve certification required. Extensive knowledge of beers, wines, spirits and specialty drinks. Able to work in high-demand situations. Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be available to work into the fall.
