We are seeking motivated individuals enrolled in a turf management program who possess a passion for the game of golf and want to be a part of a team that produces the best conditions for our members daily. As part of our team, interns will be exposed to as many aspects of the turf maintenance operation as possible including:

Position Description:
We are seeking motivated individuals enrolled in a turf management program who possess a passion for the game of golf and want to be a part of a team that produces the best conditions for our members daily. As part of our team, interns will be exposed to as many aspects of the turf maintenance operation as possible including:
- Cultural practices & product applications -pesticides/fertilizers
- IPM Record keeping and data collection.
- Irrigation System Use, Repair, Start Up and Blowout
- Reel Grinding and Equipment Maintenance
- Opportunity to lead teams through various projects.
- Team Management Opportunities
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a recognized Turf Management Program
Minimum 1-year experience in golf course maintenance
Team player with ability to work independently
A keen eye for detail with attention to attendance and punctuality
Ability to follow oral and written directions.
Experience in operation of golf course equipment
Ontario Pesticide Licence (preferred)- CPR/first aid certificate an asset
- Valid driver’s license
