Job Description
Ensures that all activities adhere to and support the Novotel Sharjah.
Undertakes full responsibility of the security officers for supervising and enforcing security policies and procedures in accordance with Novotel guidelines and ensuring compliance with all local regulations.
Familiarizes with all procedures related to fire prevention and evacuation and ensures prompt decision-making regarding the safety and security of guests and employees.
Develops and trains hotel talents in firefighting and fire evacuation as per local civil defence.
Thoughtfully exercises initiative in decision-making and alerts or informs related executives as situations require.
Investigates, reviews, and follows up on all incidents, loss, and accident reports.
Ensures the availability, continuity, and security of data and information pertaining to the organization.
Respects confidentiality in discussing talents and organizational matters; also maintains confidentiality of organization and personnel-related information.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably with hotel security.
Good command of English in both written and spoken.
Completed the Security Supervisor Training SIRA Certification.
Certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
Understanding of Hotel Operations.
Customer Focus.
The ability to multitask.
