Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily landscape maintenance tasks to keep the golf course in excellent condition, including mowing, edging, and trimming using hand tools and power tools.
- Support irrigation system operations by inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing routine adjustments to ensure proper watering schedules.
- Help with pest control and fertilization programs by applying treatments safely and accurately as directed.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Contribute to turf health by monitoring soil conditions, aerating greens, and assisting with overseeding projects.
- Support turf health in handling chemical applications while following safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the team on landscape projects or renovating existing areas to enhance course aesthetics.
- Experience in safely applying Turf Fertilizers and Pesticides
- General Knowledge of Spray and Granular Turf Health Application Systems, calibration, and application techniques
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, landscaping techniques, and lawn care practices.
- Experience or interest in horticulture, gardening, or turfgrass management is preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and turf maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude toward maintenance tasks and teamwork.
- Good physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of course presentation.
- Valid driver’s license; previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is required. Experience in a Golf setting is a plus.
