Established in 1959, Ellington Ridge Country Club is a Private, 18 hole championship golf course designed by noted golf architect, Geoffrey Cornish that measures 7000+ yards from the championship tees. We have hosted the Traveler's Qualifier, CT PGA, CSGA, CWGA, collegiate and junior tournaments. ERCC utitilizes Rainbird/Toro Irrigation, with Rainbird computer Software.
Responsibilities:
- To assist the Superintendent in all facets of golf course maintenance. Candidate must be able to perform chemical & fertilizer applications, irrigation repairs and irrigation system management. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to; employee training, employee supervision and course set up.
Requirements:
- B.S., A.S. or certificate in Turf Grass Management or related field a plus. Minimum of two years management in golf course maintenance. The candidate should have experience in pesticide/fertilizer applications and irrigation repairs.
- Current State Pesticide Application/Supervisors License, Valid Driver’s License & ability to work weekends, holidays & Overtime.
Compensation: $55,000+, based on experience
- Health, Dental, Paid Annual Vacation, Personal Days and Sick Leave. 401K, Christmas bonus, dues for Local & National Associations, Golfing Privileges.
