This position is responsible for assisting the Superintendents in supervising crew, dispersing daily crew work assignments, and participating in the maintenance of the golf courses.

This position is responsible for assisting the Superintendents in supervising crew, dispersing daily crew work assignments, and participating in the maintenance of the golf courses.
- Ensures golf course grounds are maintained at pristine, tournament quality conditions
- Assists in supervising and training a crew of 20 plus employees
- Maintains and directs repairs to irrigation system
- Ensures the application and management of fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain required certifications and application records.
- Monitor turf health and identify disease, insect, or environmental stress issues.
- Coordinate with equipment operators regarding maintenance and repair needs.
- Ensure proper operation and care of maintenance equipment.
- Assist in maintaining maintenance facilities, storage areas, and inventory controls.
- Monitor supplies and assist with ordering materials as needed.
- Follows all state and local safety and environmental standards
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations.
- Assist with safety meetings and trainings
- Other duties as directed.
