About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to support the daily operations and long-term turf management goals of our championship golf course. This is an outstanding opportunity for a turf professional looking to step up into a leadership role, working closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and a dedicated team to provide quality playing surfaces year-round.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of daily maintenance tasks across greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers
Supervise and lead staff in the absence of the Superintendent
Contribute to irrigation scheduling, repairs, and monitoring of turf health
Operate and maintain machinery and ensure safe workplace practices
Support major projects including renovations and course improvements
Minimum Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
Previous experience in a similar role or looking to step up into a leadership role
Sound knowledge of irrigation systems, turf agronomy, and machinery operation
Strong leadership and communication skills
Chemical application accreditation and current driver’s license
