United States (U.S.) Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.

Duties
  • Will provide care for program participants in compliance with DoD, Army and local policies, guidance, and standards. Will interact with patrons and deliver superior patron experience.
  • Encourages patron interest, participation, and helps promote a positive golf experience. Completes designated training requirements and records completed training. Assists in the daily operation of the Golf Activity.
  • Carries out instructions and directives as necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base.
  • Assists in the marketing and promotion of the golf activity and programs. Provides golf instructions to individuals and groups.
  • Assists in the scheduling and conducting of golf related activities and tournaments. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Conditions of employment
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Must be able to work during the hours of operation to include nights and weekends.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required for this position.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
  • Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed.
  • Must possess the ability to instruct the game of golf as evidenced through completion or current enrollment in pursuit of Class A PGA Certification.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": * Current Class A PGA certification.
