This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the hospitality and sports management industry, combining your love for golf with operational excellence. *Duties* * Assist in managing daily golf course operations, including tee time scheduling and pace of play monitoring * Support staff supervision by coordinating team schedules, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment * Deliver exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere * Oversee event planning and management for tournaments, outings, and special functions at the golf facility * Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain financial records in compliance with operational procedures * Contribute to operational management by assisting with inventory control, equipment maintenance, and clubhouse cleanliness. * Wear all the hats attitude. Could be doing carts, helping in the kitchen or bartending. Where ever the help is needed. *Skills* * Proven leadership experience with staff supervision and team management capabilities * Strong background in customer service within hospitality or sports environments * Experience in event management, including planning and executing tournaments or social gatherings * Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for report writing and data analysis * Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate staff and interact effectively with guests * Knowledge of operational management principles such as budgeting, shift management, and venue operations * Familiarity with nightlife or nightclub experience is a plus for managing evening events or social functions at the venue * Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cash handling procedures confidently. * Experience in operational decision-making related to event venue management or hospitality settings * Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while maintaining high standards of service This vibrant role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their managerial skills in a lively golf environment.
