This role is intended to be filled to help an assistant golf professional get a great experience at a high-end private country club. We want to provide experience for this assistant in our busy tournament schedule, daily play and large junior program. This assistant will be able to assist in all aspects of the country club.
Hyde Park G&CC has an indoor learning center equipped with Trackman Technology that allows for teaching rain or shine. This facility and outdoor practice facility will be available for personal and professional use.
Hyde Park G&CC is a Donald Ross 1909 design with over 24,000 rounds annually. There are two ladies leagues (18 and 9 holes respectively) and a weekly 9 hole men's league. The club also hosts four PGA Junior league programs. In addition to the league schedule, there are multiple member guests and the city's oldest golf event, The Braemar.
This position is intended to be seasonal (off in January and February) but can transition into year-round with appropriate experience and credentials.
