Essential Responsibilities:
- Spread customer service and hospitality among all members and their guests. Communicate with team members in other club departments to administer the overall club experience as well as daily activities effectively.
- Teach private and group lessons to all members – Men, Women, Juniors, and Seniors. Work with other Chevy Chase Club PGA Professionals to develop new programs and enhance popular programs for all ages and abilities.
- Play golf regularly with golfers representing all ages and abilities. Represent Chevy Chase Club in local and regional tournaments.
- Work with Junior Golf Director to develop lesson plans for all junior golf programming.
- Participate in the oversight and management of a world-class golf retail operation.
- Promote and execute a busy tournament calendar of member golf events.
- Maintain an active presence in the Mid Atlantic PGA and continuing education opportunities. Be an active member of the Golf Business Network.
- Assist Chevy Chase Club golf staff in maintaining an active digital presence at the club for the membership.
- Assisted in training PGM Interns and part-time employees as part of their professional development and our desire to improve the golf operation.
