Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests, and visitors.
- Assist in managing tee times, reservations, and check-in procedures.
- Address inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner, ensuring an exceptional resort experience.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the golf shop, driving range, and practice facilities.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of all golf facilities.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing golf tournaments, outings, and events.
- Coordinate tournament logistics, including registration, scoring, rules enforcement, and prize distribution.
- Provide on-course assistance and player management during tournaments as needed.
- Develop and implement creative instructional programs for golfers of all skill levels.
- Conduct individual lessons, group clinics, and junior golf programs.
- Work closely with the Head Golf Professional to promote and market instructional offerings.
- Assist in the procurement, merchandising, and sale of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain a diverse and attractive product selection.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and sound record keeping to ensure operational revenue goals are reached.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with Tribal members, pass-holders and resort guests.
- Anticipate and fulfill the needs and preferences of members and guests to enhance their overall experience.
- Assist in organizing Tribal and Pass-holder events, leagues, and creative promotions.
- Be an ambassador of the golf course and Little Creek Casino Resort.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must maintain a clean, orderly appearance of both personal hygiene and uniform.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Class A Member of the PGA of America
- 3+ years of experience at a high-end daily fee, resort, or private golf/country club, preferably in a leadership role.
- 2+ years of tournament operations experience including Golf Genius software, calligraphy skills and running events of all sizes (12-100+ golfers) from initial set-up and contracting through event completion.
- Extensive knowledge of the GHIN Handicap system.
- 2+ years of instructional experience in all levels of player development including juniors, seniors, and women, including groups and clinics.
- 2+ years of POS experience with a golf-specific system (i.e. Jonas, EZ Links, Agilysys Golf, etc.).
- Class II Gaming License issued from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission (must be able to pass a background check).
- Requires a Valid Washington State Driver License and must be insurable on the Tribe’s insurance.
