The Position
Start Date: November 1, 2026 (Flexible) End Date: April 30, 2027 (Flexible)
The Assistant Golf Professional role at The Mirabel Club is focused on delivering exceptional hospitality to our Members & Guests. Qualified candidates should expect to be in this position for two (2) to four (4) years (working at a 'snowbird' or northern climate club in summer) and possess a strong desire to become a Head Professional or Director of Golf.
Candidates must be highly motivated, hard-working, and team players. They must also be service-oriented, possess exceptional communication skills and attention to detail, have energy and self-confidence, and display a genuine caring attitude towards people.
The ideal candidate should have experience coordinating with a team of like-minded individuals in delivering exceptional service and a proven track record of seeking continuous improvement opportunities, both personally and professionally.
This position will offer a comprehensive understanding of a successful golf operation, emphasizing service, fiscal responsibility, and team culture. High-end private club experience is required.

Education & Certification
- Class A PGA membership in good standing is preferred, though candidates enrolled within the PGA Golf Management Program or PGA Associate Program will be considered.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience as a PGA Professional at a private, member-owned club of similar size and stature preferred
- A bachelor's degree from a four-year university or college is preferred.

Job Duties
Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Assist the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional in all significant club tournaments.
- Assist the Merchandise Manager/Buyer with all responsibilities within our high-end merchandising operation (e.g., placing, processing, and completing Special Orders for Members and guests).
- Assist the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional, and Golf Hospitality Manager in directing Outside Golf Services staff in executing all daily golf operations tasks and duties.
- Support all aspects of the arrival & departure process.
- Manage daily play with up to 180 daily rounds.
- Provide customer service to The Mirabel Club standard levels.
- Proficiency with Fore-Tees, JONAS POS, Golf Genius (Tournament & Golf Shop), Microsoft Office.
- Dedication to accomplishing The Mirabel Club Golf Operational goals and programs.
- Possess a strong understanding of and promote the Club's wide range of activities and services.
- Be accessible to provide continuous improvement initiatives, training, and coaching as needed to all support staff.
- Pursue continuing education opportunities to ensure professional growth.
- Assist with all aspects of daily Golf Operations, including but not limited to starting, ranging, instructing clinics, and individual private lessons.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional appearance.
