About the role:
This role represents an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Golf Operations Manager to work full-time within the golf operations and retail services at the Club.
Supporting the Golf Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of a busy sports shop and assist with Club competitions. Your goal is to deliver an exceptional member experience every time. No day is ever the same.

About the role:
This role represents an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Golf Operations Manager to work full-time within the golf operations and retail services at the Club.
Supporting the Golf Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of a busy sports shop and assist with Club competitions. Your goal is to deliver an exceptional member experience every time. No day is ever the same.
In your role you will:
Manage Sports Shop retail, merchandising and inventory control
Oversee the presentation of the Sports Shop. You will need an eye for detail to ensure the retail space is commensurate with leading clubs.
Arrange golf club demonstration and fitting days to satisfy member demand and reach sales budgets.
Development and delivery of a Club Fitting service provided to Members within rostered hours.
Assist with competition and timesheet management
Assist with golf club repairs
Provide operational support over the management of the Club golf cart fleet and member club storage
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have:
An understanding of golf competitions and administration
A passion for providing excellent customer service, displaying an enthusiastic can-do attitude
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Organised, punctual, and reliable with immaculate presentation and professional standards
Experience in visual merchandising and or retail preferred
Flexibility on working days including weekends and public holidays
